Many forms of cancer reprogram themselves so they can thrive in low oxygen. Two methods of exploiting this to kill off such tumors were independently and almost simultaneously developed some 20 odd years ago by a NASA scientist, Dr. Clarence Cone, Jr., and a biological theorist, Dr. Anthony G. Payne. Dr. Payne ultimately incorporated elements of Dr. Cone's work in his own which gave birth to "The Metabolic Oncolytic Regimen". This novel approach plus special cord blood stem cells are being used as part of a new individualized cancer treatment program by a progressive clinic just across the US border in Mexico.
