A circa 1862-1875 “S.T. Drake’s 1860 Plantation X Bitters” bottle sold for $19,890; while a circa 1865-1875 “Old Dr. Townsend’s Celebrated Stomach Bitters” bottle realized $16,380.

The Rare Autographs, Manuscripts & Books auction, at 10am EST, contains over 490 lots of outstanding historical material, headlined by two notable and largely unreserved collections.

The sale had 216 lots of mostly firearms and ammunition advertising, plus additional items. Headlining the online event was the outstanding longtime collection of Lorenz Werkmeister.

The auction, with start times of 9am and 6pm Eastern, features the outstanding Jason Patzer Collection. In total, 437 lots will come up for bid across the two sessions, on two platforms.

The auction brings together an extraordinary selection of 136 wristwatches and pocket watches, highlighted by select pieces from The Alexander James Black Collection.
