Wes Hermanson introduces the Intelligence System IS1000

Wes Hermanson has released the long-awaited IS1000 version of the Intelligence System, a tool for creating Business Process Automation (BPA). The program combines a plethora of artificial intelligence, interactive agent, and software engineering features into a potentially disruptive master automation tool. The Intelligence System includes a visual design that can be as simple or complex as the user desires, and many use the visual interface to create "live" flowcharts, diagnostic agents, and call center scripts.

At any point in the execution of an agent, the user can include any number of interactive components. Components might be a complete C# or VB.Net WinForms program, PowerShell or Batch script, interactive agent interface, or maybe even a neural network or built-in function. All components can talk to each other using injectable system variables. Agents can follow a linear flow of actions (do A, then B, then C), conditional actions, and event-driven actions using event handlers and timed actions.

The Intelligence System includes diverse language features such as built-in recursion, asynchronous actions, and nesting; voice interpretation and synthesis; socket communications; and redistribution binding. Agents are fully interactive, meaning the flow of an agent has (optional) user interactions incorporated. Agents can talk to users and perform actions accordingly, and the wildcard capabilities for parsing user inputs are masterful.

With capabilities the Intelligence System offers at a low price point, it is widely popular among IS and IT professionals. Perhaps more importantly, the unique design, combination of features, and straightforward ease of use makes it possible for the IS1000 to disrupt the wider business process automation market. What was once exclusively in the domain of software engineers is now possible to be completed by business professionals of all backgrounds.
