Calculation tool for coil inductors based on resistor and 2,8mm ferrite, ham radio

Calculation of simple handmade chokes. Designed for a wide range of radio amateurs and electronic engineers.

The program is useful for making inductance coils in homemade radioelectronic devices, like: radio receivers, radio transmitters, transceivers, radiostations, antenna amplifiers and other electronic devices.

Calculation of winding quantity is performed for choke based on:
a) frame of any diameter;
b) MLT resistor frame;
c) ferrite core of 2.8 mm diameter.

Minimum system requirements:
AMD/Intel microprocessor, 5Mb of hard disk space. OS: Win9x, Win2k-XP, Win7, Windows 10, and Linux. No additional libraries or components are needed to run it. Description and calculation formulas can be found at RadioStorage.net in the article for the program (see the link below).

How to use:
1) Specify the required inductance, if necessary, the diameter of an arbitrary frame;
2) Get the required number of turns for winding on the frame, on the cases of MLT resistors, on a ferrite rod with a diameter of 2.8 mm;
3) Check the information and tips by pressing [?] button.
